Weather of Record is a free, invite-only beta. No charge is made and no entity is named as seller during beta.

Weather of Record ("we", "us") is operated by EVERPLAT, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. Nothing is sold during the beta. By ordering a report you agree to these terms.

What a report is

Each report is a compilation of publicly published weather records — including NOAA, the National Weather Service, NCEI, Iowa State's IEM, and volunteer observer networks — for the address and date you enter, retrieved at the times stated in the provenance file that ships with it.

It is not a meteorological opinion, a site observation, or an engineering conclusion. No one visits the property. No professional engineering, architectural, or other licensed service is offered or performed, and nothing in a report should be represented as one.

What we warrant, and what we do not

We warrant only that the report accurately transcribes the records cited in it, as those records stood at the retrieval times stated in the provenance file. We give no warranty of any kind as to the underlying records themselves — their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose is the responsibility of the agencies and networks that publish them.

Weather stations and storm-report points are spatially sparse. Observations recorded at a station may differ from the conditions at the address, and the absence of a record is not evidence that a condition did not occur. Source databases are revised by their publishers; a report reflects a source as of its retrieval time and may differ from the same source read later. Sources, revisions and gaps are listed in the provenance file.

You are responsible for interpretation, and for any use you make of a report. You are responsible for confirming that any use is permitted in your jurisdiction and proceeding.

A completed report that finds no storm records is a valid result — that is the answer for that address and date.

API and AI-agent lookups

Lookups made through our API or MCP endpoint are covered by these terms and carry the same limits as a report: records, not opinions, with no warranty beyond accurate transcription. A free key allows a set number of lookups each month; we may change that allowance, or revoke a key that is misused.
