Terms (beta)

Weather of Record is a free, invite-only beta. No charge is made and no entity is named as seller during beta.

Each report is a compilation of publicly published weather records — NOAA, NWS, NCEI, IEM and volunteer networks — for the address and date you enter, retrieved at the times stated in the provenance file. It is not a meteorological opinion, a site observation, or an engineering conclusion, and no one has visited the property.

Station observations may differ from conditions at the property. Sources, revisions and gaps are listed in the provenance file. You are responsible for interpretation.

A completed report that finds no storm records is a valid result — that is the answer for that address and date.

Reports and the request record (email, address, date) are retained for six years as delivery records.
