Refunds

No payment is taken and nothing is sold, so there is nothing to refund.

Refunded automatically

A failed run — where no report is produced — is refunded automatically, with no request needed.

An order held for review that is not resolved within twenty-four hours is refunded automatically. Orders are held when an address cannot be resolved confidently enough to search from.

Not refunded

A completed report that finds no storm records is not refunded. A search that finds nothing is a real and often valuable answer for that address and date, and it costs the same to produce as one that finds a storm. That answer is the product.

Reports are not refunded because a result was not the one hoped for, or because it was not useful in a matter it was ordered for.
