# Weather of Record > Published government and volunteer weather records for a U.S. street address and date, with provenance for every value. Records, not opinions: no response is a determination about any property. The absence of a record is not evidence that an event did not occur. Records reach back to about 1960. A lookup runs in roughly two minutes: submit, then poll. ## Connect an agent - [MCP endpoint (streamable HTTP)](https://weatherofrecord.com/mcp) - [OpenAPI contract](https://weatherofrecord.com/api/v1/openapi.json) - [Free API key](https://weatherofrecord.com/api) - [National Weather Service forecast API](https://weatherofrecord.com/api/v1/openapi.json) ## County storm-event pages - [County storm data index (JSON)](https://weatherofrecord.com/api/v1/storms) - [Sitemap](https://weatherofrecord.com/sitemap.xml) ## Learn - [Check the Storm History at Your Address](https://weatherofrecord.com/learn/check-storm-history-at-your-address) - [What a Hail Report Can and Can't Tell You](https://weatherofrecord.com/learn/what-a-hail-report-can-tell-you) - [Hail vs. Wear: Why Missing Granules Don't Prove a Storm](https://weatherofrecord.com/learn/hail-vs-wear) ## Articles - [Martin County, Florida: heavy rain reported October 27, 2026](https://weatherofrecord.com/storms/fl/2026-10-27) ## Terms - [Terms](https://weatherofrecord.com/terms) - [Privacy](https://weatherofrecord.com/privacy)
